2018 Highlights

How time flies! Already 2019, and here we are talking about yester-year. It's been a busy 2018 here - between school, graduations, rotations, and other activities. However, we have not forgotten ALAFLEX and the direction it is heading. Here are some updates for you:

ALAFLEX made it into the Philadelphia Inquirer. In case you no longer have access to the Sunday print edition, you can read about us in Susan Snyder's article here. It features insightful topics such as interdisciplinary collaboration across medicine, design, engineering, and business. In the process of merging schools, Snyder interviews faculty and students from both Jefferson University campuses about multi-department projects and discoveries. Students describe how working together on the same playing field creates more opportunities and success for today's progressive, cutting-edge technology. 

Finally, as of September 2018, our provisional patent has been filed as an invention patent. Moving forward with research, development, and pilot testing will be the next steps to our journey of bringing ALAFLEX to you!
